Surgery 150

The plan for episode 150 was already to go back into my collection and do a kind of "unheard greatest hits" from some of my favourite albums from years of doing the podcast. But with David Bowie's passing a few days ago it seemed necessary to pay tribute... primarily because if I hadn't heard Scary Monsters when I was 13 or 14 this podcast might be a mix of tracks by Bob Seger, Jimmy Buffett, and The Eagles. No joking! I'm pretty sure you can draw a straight line between my listening from that moment through until now, represented in the tracks from the mix below. Some of the artists are directly related to Bowie, some definitely influenced by him, the rest share a textural kinship that rings true to my ears. So, enjoy this tribute, hopefully, and if you note there is no halfway title/time stamp... the flow seemed to suggest that it be dropped for this episode.
Thanks.
