After making the Leaf label his primary home early on,  he's since branched out in styles, collaborations, and variety of projects, though his focus on the acoustic orchestral and it's combination to electronics has remained. Steve Gunn has a new record coming soon on Three Lobed Records, so it seemed like a good time to Spotlight his discography. Given what seemed to be his consistent presence of late it was a bit of a surprise to find that his recorded output starts less than 20 years ago, but in that time he has established a guitar imprint that combines tradition fingerpicking, Easter-influenced psychedelia, and free ranging improvisation.
