You probably have noticed we've been playing pretty loosely with show curation this last while. Rather than rely on "vintage" episodes to fill in for the lack of time needed to compile shows of all new music, I've been just digging into the record collection at home and making mixes both formal and informal in their structure. This week I pulled down the little crate of all the Type Records promos I was lucky enough to receive through the latter half of the first decade of the new millenium. Sadly the label is no longer in operation (thus no label links), but as you can see the roster of artists that John Twells & Stefan Lewandowski gathered together was unparalleled in their excellence and continue to be favourites.
